Loadstone import text file, downloadable for example from the Point Share

this file into plain Ascii (no ansi, no utf-8, only 7-bit ASCII)!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

mklsdb program from any directory, giving as an argument the import file name,
for example:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

c:\loadstone databases\some data.txt<o:p></o:p></span></p>

beep will be heart, signing the start of the import.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>In the same
time in the current working directory a file named ls.db will be created.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Mklsdb
produces no output messages, only error messages in case of troubles.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Be carefull
not to press any keys as arrows, letters and so on, because this can spoil one
or more lines which mklsdb sends to the dbshell program.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>You can
switch into an other window safely.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Look at the
ls.db file during the process, the growth of the file size will give you an
idea of the import progress.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>When import
will finish, the next short beep sound will be generated.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>5. Note that
the file size of the database is now few times smaller than during import -
it's because of &quot;compact database&quot; operation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>6. Now
manually rename the ls.db result file into some name more significant to you,
and then copy it into the loadstone &quot;databases&quot; directory.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
