[Loadstone] Need a reminder I can't seem to solve.

Correct. Loadstone does not, and never has, announce points automatically 
unless they're checkpoints. You can of course query the closest point 
manually and the points you've downloaded are in your database so they're 
still available in exploration and navigation modes.
