Hi Shawn, i don't mean to discredit you as developer. I don't remember the no signal thing on pressing 9. It always tell you your last tower against your database point. At least that is what i remember. I will try again. Someone else in the list might also want to try?

When you press 9 if there's no cell service you'll get a no signal 
announcement.
