[Loadstone] Loadstone for iPhone

Steve,

That would be nice. Not that I'd buy an IPhone for that reason -- I'd rather
see that capability engineered into the existing Symbian platform. Hint,
hint.

Dave

Hmmm

I thought there was a vendor working on creating something close to
LoadStone for the IPhone but it uses different data but from what I recall
will announce what streets are coming up. That is all I recall about it.

Hardware eventually fails, software eventually works.
No amount of bandwidth can fix poor design.

Sqlite won’t work on Symbian first/second addition phones, and I don't
see a reason that you can't store everything in text so that you can
convert it to whatever works the most efficiently on your platform of
choice. I suggest if there's interest in creating loadstone type
programs someone starts a blind-gps programming list or something
similar so this group doesn't get filled with technical discussion
that is only tangentially related to loadstone. If there is interest
in this I will start the group.
