[Loadstone] Loadstone Digest, Vol 43, Issue 22

Ok, just tried turning on nokia maps first, and it worked quite well.

Have also changed the WAS echo setting and we'll see how it goes.

I have a database of around 100000 points for south africa, but it only
really has suburbs/cities, and one or two features, like dams etc. in it.

I primarily set checkpoints on my own routes, or use nokia maps to search
for a point, and then import that into loadstone.

If you want, I'll try put a copy of that database file up on my site for you
to download?

It will be an actual database file, since the original export process took
around 11 hours to complete, after another list member helped me get hold of
it via open streetmap, so you'll just be able to copy it into the database
folder, and then choose it from the load database option, and I generally
keep it separate, and just create separate databases for areas or routes,
etc.

Stay well
