Hi,

Yes it does take more time to get signal with the internal one, but eventually you wil get it and it receives about 3-6 satelites. Good for emergency situations when you forget to carry with you the external one.

Thanks, found it.  Couldn't get a signal but the external one does so
will play more.  Loadstone rocks!
