[Loadstone] osm files

Hi,

Wow I used offline tools to convert a 30mb .osm file. 
Found 77840 points.
 
Created 11907 intersections.
 
Removed 34295 close points.
 
Included 455 POI's.

conversion time: 606 seconds.

Wish I could take the 455 poi's and somehow dump them in a seperate database. Also why did it remove 34000 close points? Why not keep them in there?
