You can do the same using function "add database", which loads an other data 
base leaving previous opened too...
And all functions work on both opened databases.

Could you add a feature to also download points of interest from groute as a 
checkpoints file? this way I could have a street maps file loaded and a 
checkpoints file with points loaded at the same time.
