Are you asking to use cables instead of yards? Egads! How about we use 
furlongs instead of miles? Sorry, but I fail to see the point of your 
request -- it's even more confounding.

According to Wikipedia, an unit smaller from nautical mile is not yard but 
cable.
1 cable

= 0,1 nautical mile

= 608 feet

= 185,166 metres

Could you take it into account while creating the next version of Loadstone, 
please?
