  Then you should be a bit careful. Make sure that the phone you choose has the off-line profile option and some second generation phones function only when you insert a sim card. Not sure about 6680 though since I never used it.

    I will not be using a service with this phone. I only want the phone for the gps, and the organizer functions. I do not want to use this phone to make any kind of calls messages, email, or internet. just gps and organizer.
