My initial email to nokia is attached to the bottom of this message,
what is sent here is the entire thread.
I seriously need help selecting a good cpu for the desired mobility
application.
Nokia wasn't terribly helpful, though they tried.

RE: Accessibility[THREAD ID:2-15SJ8D]
Dear Alan,

Thank you for your response.

We appreciate the additional information in regards to software and
hardware requirements.

In regards to your first requirement, we recommend our Nseries phones.
We do not have a phone that is specific to your second requirement.

There can be multiple devices paired at once, but only one connection at
a time. This is typical of all Bluetooth devices.

Our Bluetooth headset can be used for the music player and a sufficient
java application can do this.

Nokia series 60 phones do support talx and other text to speech
software, however we recommend contacting the developer for compatible.
For your last requirement
our Nokia series 60 phone would meet all the requirements.

We currently do not have one specific phone that would meet all your
requirements.

We invite you to use our online comparison tool at,
www.nokiausa.com
. You can find this tool by going to the "Find Products" link and
clicking on "Phones". Once there, you may select a combination of phones
and features.
As all Nokia phones are made to the same high quality standards, we
recommend that you visit our web site to determine the phone with
features best suited
to your needs.

Please be advised that Nokia does not support third party software.

We hope the information provided is helpful.

If you have any additional questions, please contact us. To ensure
proper handling, please continue to use the current subject line.

Thank you for choosing Nokia for your mobile needs.

Dear Alan,
Thank you for e-mailing the Nokia Care Contact Center.
We understand your inquiry with regards to having a Nokia phone that
supports all the basic features and also uses third party applications.
Nokia does not test or support the use of third party software products
in conjunction with Nokia phones, except where expressly stated by Nokia.
Some Nokia phones use a Symbian operating system (OS). Some third party
software does work with Nokia phones and the Symibain OS. Just the
same, those
products are not supported by Nokia. To receive support for your third
party product you will need to contact the original manufacturer/vendor
of the product.
For more information regarding Nokia and third party solutions, please
visit our web site at

This wasn't terribly helpful, perhaps if I include more specific
software and hard requirements.

The phone needs to be s60 3rd gen
The sws application requires java ME (j2me) midp-2.0 and mmapi compliance.

The camera must not (when opened) launch a default picture utility, this
would be preffered to be a user changeable setting, if I could launch
SWS upon camera open that would be ideal.

I require a phone that can support multiple bluetooth connections, one
for a headset, one for a gps reciever, and not as important, one for a
separate foldable keyboard for textmessaging and emails and the like.

The bluetooth headset must be able to do more than just be used for
calls. The SWS application takes an image with the camera and sonifies
it for the blind, the bluetooth headset must be able to handle any audio
from the phone.

The phone must also be able to handle TTS software, either talx or
mobilespeak, either with or without the nokia tts voice in the case of
mobile speak.

In order to handle the tts app, the gps app, and the SWS app, the phone
must have a decent processor and a decent amount of memory to play with.
Some form of memory card would be preffered here to have gps data on,
and store SWS images. applications should fit in main phone memory.
