Please consider doing the opposite - making pointshare data available in
OSM. If pointshare data were available for download, rather than
protected by a registration and username / password system, I would have
reccomended OSM people to have a look at it and add information already.
It would be very silly to maintain 2 separate free-use on-line map
databases in the long term.

If you are worried that some features in pointshare are
blind-people-only, there is plenty of scope to add tags to the OSM
database to mark them as such.
