[Loadstone] Questions from a new user

Kia Ora from New Zealand,

I recently began using loadstone with a Holux m-1000B and find the basic
benefits great.

I do have a few questions in regard to making the program keep my
personal settings.

I have set options within the settings dialogues, including my user ID,
but these are not been saved by the program on a restart...can anyone
explain what I might be doing wrong?
