Yes it works with Talks on all of my phones. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd edition phones. N-gage qd, 6682, n73, n75, and e70.

Produced on a Nokia N73 smart phone using a Symbian series 60 based screen reader.

No. You need to be in an editor (like when you're reading/updating a note) or a
viewer (like when you're reading a text message). You need to be able to
highlight the text you want to cut/copy.

I don't know about Talks. I use Mobile Speak and can use it.
